The Friends of Wheaton Parks is committed to enhancing the quality of community life by supporting programs, facilities, and parks. Our mission encompasses the following key objectives:

Programs, Facilities & Parks Support: We strive to promote healthy leisure pursuits and foster an appreciation for our natural world by advocating for the development and maintenance of programs, facilities, and parks within the Wheaton community.

Access Improvements Advocacy: We actively support improving access to parks and recreational spaces, ensuring that all community members can enjoy the benefits of outdoor activities and green spaces.

Candidate Support: We endorse and support candidates who share our vision of enhancing community well-being through robust park systems, recreational opportunities, and environmental stewardship.

Promotions, Public Relations & Advocacy: We engage in effective communication, public relations, and advocacy efforts to raise awareness about the importance of parks, encourage community involvement, and champion the value of the park district for the community of Wheaton.
